ABLE ELECTRONICS ANNOUNCES THE PROMOTION OF GEORGE LAURIE TO VICE PRESIDENT OF MANUFACTURINGHayward, Calif.—July 1, 2004 Able Electronics Corporation, a leading electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company, today announced the promotion of George Laurie to Vice President of Manufacturing. In his new position, Mr. Laurie will be responsible for both the Hayward and Mexico manufacturing operations and will continue with the core implementation of Able's processes and systems to support delivery, quality and customer cost objectives. Laurie, who joined Able Electronics in February 2000 as Director of Manufacturing, will continue to report directly to Peter Dennis, president and COO. "His experience, drive, and enthusiasm are ideally suited to the task at hand, and I look forward to working closely with him as he drives the manufacturing operations. George's contributions have already had a significant impact on the company, and his expanded responsibilities will allow him the opportunity to contribute more broadly to our operations.
